Streamlined blue-green-and-silver fish with a jutting jaw full of sharp teeth. Galveston 'tailor' blues run 1-4 lb, with bigger fish in the fall surf.

Bluefish: serious teeth, blue-green back, faint black spot at the pectoral base. Ladyfish: fine teeth, silver, more slender.
